Algebraic Structures in Quantum Computation Program 

The purpose of the workshop is to discuss in a small setting the recent advances in our understanding of quantum computation through algebraic methods. Topics include:

  • Quantum algorithms
  • Generalized stabilizer formalisms
  • Symmetry-protected topological order and group cohomology
  • Discrete Wigner functions and contextuality of quantum mechanics
  • Quantum reference frames
  • Quantum error-correction
  • Models of quantum computation
