Innovation Showcase & Tour: UBC’s Quantum Matter Institute

Vancouver is set to host Web Summit from May 27–30, 2025, marking the event’s first appearance in British Columbia. One of the largest gatherings in the tech world, Web Summit is expected to bring together innovators, investors, and industry executives from around the globe. As part of the week’s events, UBC Blusson QMI will open its doors to delegates for a tour and innovation showcase on May 26, 2025.
The showcase will highlight research in quantum science & tech, commercialization opportunities, and the institute’s advanced nanofabrication capabilities. Expressions of interest are now open, with limited availability for two tour sessions: 10:00 am–12:00 pm and 2:00 pm–4:00 pm on May 26, 2025.
