Canada’s flagship quantum science and technology conference will shift to the country’s West Coast next year as Quantum Days 2026 comes to Victoria, British Columbia. The program will be chaired by Alannah Hallas, a Principal Investigator at the University of British Columbia’s Blusson Quantum Matter Institute (UBC Blusson QMI).

Taking place February 18–20, 2026, the event will convene researchers, industry leaders, government representatives, and international delegations. The three-day conference will feature keynote addresses, industry showcases, and networking sessions, along with a poster competition spotlighting emerging talent.

Quantum Days has become a key platform for Canada’s quantum community to highlight research breakthroughs, emerging businesses, and policy priorities, providing a space to form partnerships that advance Canada’s national interests as global demand for quantum readiness continues to rise.

Delegates will also have the opportunity to tour leading research facilities in Vancouver and Victoria, including TRIUMF, UBC Blusson QMI, Simon Fraser University, and the University of Victoria.

Quantum BC, a partnership led by the University of Victoria, Simon Fraser University, and the University of British Columbia, is thrilled to be a host partner for Quantum Days 2026, bringing this premier event to B.C. for the first time. Registration is now open, with early-bird rates available until January 16, 2026.
